Second of Thirty

Well once again not really much to blog about today. Got home from work about 9 or so last night and hung out with Eric for a little bit. Watched SNL (hilarious). Fell asleep.

Eric worked this morning. Came home around 11:00 or so and we laid down and took a nap. Woke up and I cooked a new recipe for Chocolate Cherry Cobbler. Went over to my mom and dads for dinner. My dad grilled some halibut and it was so good. Now we are back home sitting on the couch doing nothing at all. Nice boring Sunday...just the way I like it!

I need to think of some blogging topics or this blogging for 30 days straight thing is never going to work.

Something kind of funny. How would you say the name
Le-a? If you said Leah (lee-ah) you are not alone. Apparently there is a little girl in my grandma's friend's preschool class with that name and the mom went off on my grandma's friend because she was pronouncing it wrong. It is pronounced le-dash-ah. Yes, you say the dash. LOL! Now I know that G-R-A-Y-C-E is not the most popular way of spelling Grace, but at least I didn't put a dash in her name. That has got to be the oddest name I have ever heard of. Although Hallie said that one of her friends who is a teacher had a family of kids named after Jello. Oranjello being one of them. Sometimes I wonder where they come up with some of these names. How about you? What is the strangest kids name you have ever come across. I think
Le-a takes the cake for me.

I have to tell you 14 years ago I thought I came across the most original way to spell the name we had chosen for my daughter's name. It's a beautiful name - and there are no hypens allowed.

She is named Grayce.
